When I moved to Margate one of the first things that caught my eye in the old town was the pretty pink vintage shop; I was desperate to go in there and rummage! Seven months on and I'm delighted to have become friends with Georgie the beautiful soul who alongside her work in social care seeks out the most delightful vintage clothes for the pink palace. Alex is a crafty Mum from Devon. She says 'If you are reading that and picturing me hovering above a beach wearing a flowing black dress, pointy boots, black lipstick and a studded choker then hello fellow 90s teen movie fan! Fairuza Balk is goals. I actually do like to live beside the seaside though as a Nan-taught jack of all trades. I mostly sew, knit, bake, and dabble with making clothes whilst attempting to keep my 2-year-old daughter amused like some weird Martha Stewart/Waynetta Slob hybrid.
